The Auntie Dialogues - Volume Two
The Auntie Dialogues Volume Two is a book of scripts for the second season of the podcast The Auntie Is In. It was published as a special issue in the Socialist Studies journal in June of 2024.
The Auntie Is In is hosted by Dr. Paulina Johnson, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Alberta. She shares realities and wisdom from her people, the Nehiyawak (four spirit) and tackles what it's like to be Indigenous in settler Canada.
The cover includes animals and plants discussed throughout the podcast, woven together with a braid of sweetgrass.
Every chapter starts with a qr code that links back to the same episode of the podcast to emphasize the importance of oral narrative.
